Singer Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solidstar, has announced his engagement to his fiancée. The announcement was made on his social media page on Tuesday, where he shared a photo of the engagement ring on his partner’s finger, expressing his admiration by stating, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”
This joyful news follows a difficult period for Solidstar. In August 2023, he was seen in a distressing condition, appearing unkempt and wandering the streets aimlessly. His brother Joseph revealed that Solidstar was grappling with drug addiction, which had severely impacted him.
However, by March 2024, Solidstar publicly addressed these issues, sharing that he had overcome his struggles with smoking and alcohol.
Solidstar’s music journey began at the age of 14 when he played the drums at his church in Delta State. He later transitioned to a professional music career after being discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos.
