Big Brother Naija housemate Toyosi has hinted at a temporary separation from her friend and teammate Damilola following their eviction from the show on Sunday. The pair, known as Team Tami, were the first to be evicted after only a week in the house.
During a post-eviction interview with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Toyosi expressed concerns about the tension between them. When asked if they would continue living together, Damilola responded affirmatively, but Toyosi hesitated.
“I love you so much, but I feel like there’s been a lot of tension,” Toyosi said. “She’s been blaming herself too much, and I want her to think without me being there.”
Damilola appeared taken aback and asked, “Would that be why?” Toyosi explained, “Yes, you’re blaming yourself too much. When you see me, you keep blaming yourself, and it makes me very sad.”
Ebuka encouraged the pair to communicate openly, sensing the emotional tension. “Maybe you guys haven’t had this conversation yet… Sit down and say how you feel. I don’t think a week in Big Brother’s house should damage a 7-year friendship.”
The conversation ended with both Toyosi and Damilola in tears, highlighting the need for open dialogue to address their issues.
