One of the individuals involved in the spread of the Russian flag in Kano, Northwest Nigeria, has been arrested. Protesters under the #EndBadGovernance movement were seen waving Russian flags in various parts of the country.
On Monday, August 5, police cracked down on a tailor in Kano, identified simply as Ahmed, who was found with several Russian flags at the time of his arrest. Ahmed, along with some youths using the flag for their protests, has been taken into custody for interrogation.
