During a conversation among housemates on Sunday night, Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Ben made some startling claims about Kiddwaya, a former Season 5 housemate. According to Ben, Kiddwaya’s father, Terry Waya, is a major political sponsor in Nigeria.
Ben alleged that Terry Waya has supported the election campaigns of five sitting governors, making him a significant player in Nigerian politics. This revelation came in response to fellow housemate Shaun’s comment about the lack of notable achievements among male BBNaija finalists after the show.
Ben countered Shaun’s point by highlighting Kiddwaya’s affluent background and connections. He claimed that Kiddwaya’s father is extremely wealthy and has sponsored numerous political campaigns. Ben also shared that Kiddwaya had generously given N10 million to a fellow housemate from Season 5.
Shaun was impressed by the potential influence that comes with such financial backing, and Ben elaborated on the significance of Terry Waya’s political involvement. However, Ben did not reveal the identities of the governors or the housemate who received the N10 million.
