On-Air Personality (OAP) Rufai Oseni has sharply criticized President Bola Tinubu’s speech writers, suggesting their dismissal due to inconsistencies in the President’s public statements about agricultural initiatives. Oseni’s remarks come in the wake of President Tinubu’s latest speech, where he pledged to cultivate 10 million hectares of land this year.
Oseni highlighted a significant discrepancy between the President’s past and present promises. He pointed out that last year, Tinubu had committed to cultivating 500 hectares of land, a target that was reportedly unmet. In contrast, the President has now set an ambitious goal of cultivating 10 million hectares, raising questions about the feasibility of such a large-scale initiative given past performance.
“President Tinubu’s speech writers must be sacked,” Oseni tweeted. “He said he would cultivate 500 hectares last year and failed. Now, he says he will cultivate 10 million hectares. Ask him how a man who failed at 500 hectares plans to succeed at 10 million hectares.”
