Protesters in Niger State have blocked the Suleja axis of the Abuja-Kaduna highway, causing many travelers to be stranded in a gridlock for hours.

The gridlock extended for several kilometers, stretching between Aluminum Village and the nearby Zuma military barracks.

Meanwhile, the number of protesters outnumbered the police operatives, who stood at a distance observing the situation as they mobilized to bring everything under control.
