JUST IN:FG To Handover 20 CNG Buses To FCTA Next Week

The program Director Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) Engineer Mike Oluwagbemi has said that the Federal Government through the PCNGi will formally handover 20 CNG buses to FCT next week to kick start the nationwide distribution of the CNG buses as promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Oluwagbemi who was speaking on Arise TV program on Saturday also appealed to Nigerians to exercise patient with the program. He disclosed that the PCNGI team is working with various transport unions in Nigeria to enhance the smooth take off program.

He also said that the PCNGi program has attracted over $120 million dollar worth of investment in the last six months and more private investment are still coming.

“Between last year and now we’ve seen over 100 applications applying for CNG conversion centers across the country and NNPC just converted twelve of their stations to CNG and more will be converted before the end of October” Oluwagbemi Stated
