Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South and a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away. Reports indicate that Ubah died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, where he had arrived two days prior.
His death was confirmed through a group chat of senators, who have begun to pay tribute. Just days before his death, Ubah’s campaign council donated N71 million to the APC in Anambra State, with N50 million coming from Ubah himself, to bolster the party’s presence and effectiveness in the region.
The Senate has not yet commented on the incident.
