“You Launched My Career—Forever Grateful for the Opportunity”, Adekunle Gold Thanks Olamide

Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has publicly thanked rapper Olamide for his role in his career. On Friday, Adekunle Gold took to social media to express his gratitude to Olamide for signing him to the YBNL music label.

Olamide founded YBNL in 2012 following the release of his second studio album, YBNL. Adekunle Gold joined the label in 2015 and released his debut album, Gold. He later departed YBNL after his contract ended.

In his post on X, Adekunle Gold shared a cover of his debut album and reflected on his journey: “Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family.”
