Players and officials of Abia Warriors have returned to training after a brief break ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Abuja City Journal reports.
The players met new head coach Imama Amapakabo for the first time on the field of play, as they had their first training session.
The old players and the new ones (to be unveiled later) had a brief meeting with the coach prior to a light training session.
The Pride of Umuahia managed to beat the drop last season.
The Umuahia club also made it to the final of the President Federation Cup where they lost 2-0 to El-Kanemi Warriors.
