American actress and singer Jojo Siwa has unveiled her unique and ambitious plans for motherhood. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the 21-year-old star shared her desire to become a mother of three through surrogacy, reflecting on how her journey to parenthood differs as a gay woman.
Siwa disclosed her intention to have “triplets” carried and delivered by three different surrogates. “Because I’m gay and I have to plan a pregnancy much different than a straight person, I actually want to take three eggs, fertilize three eggs, and have three surrogates. So technically, they’ll all be from the same batch but they would all be born separately,” she explained. Siwa hopes that their birthdays might fall on different days, making them “like triplets, but not.”
Expanding on her vision, Siwa expressed her excitement about the prospect of raising three children with unique birth stories but shared genetic ties. “I think it would be so special for them to have that bond of being conceived together but still having their own individual experiences. It’s a way to celebrate their individuality while also honoring their connection,” she said.
Siwa’s plans reflect her thoughtful approach to building a family that embraces diversity and inclusivity. As an openly gay woman, she recognizes the different paths to parenthood available to LGBTQ+ individuals and aims to normalize and celebrate these journeys. “Families come in all shapes and sizes, and I want my kids to grow up knowing that their family is built on love and intention, just like any other,” she stated.
Her candid discussion about surrogacy and her future family has resonated with many fans and followers, who appreciate her openness and authenticity. Siwa, who has been a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, continues to use her platform to inspire and educate others about the possibilities and beauty of diverse family structures.
