Nigerian-born British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has regarded the late Muhammad Ali as the best boxer in history.

In a recent interview with Men’s Health, Anthony Joshua was asked who his all-time best boxer was.
The former two-time heavyweight champion said, “Historically, Ali. By a mile.”

Muhammad Ali, who died on June 3, 2016, at the age of 74, was identified as the greatest boxer of all time even after his demise.

While Ali was alive and active, the 6 ft 3 inches tall boxer, who was born Cassius Clay, recorded 56 wins, 37 by knockouts, and just five defeats in 61 career fights.

Beyond his impressive record, Ali’s achievements in the ring were complemented by his impact outside of it. He became an influential figure in the civil rights movement, using his platform to speak out against racial inequality and injustice.
