Kylian Mbappe is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid in their upcoming UEFA Super Cup clash with Ademola Lookman’s Atlanta.
The 25-year-old French star was officially unveiled by Madrid on Tuesday.
He signed a lucrative five-year deal with the Spanish giants after his contract expired with Paris Saint-Germain.
At his press conference, the France captain suggested he’d like to play in the Super Cup match if available.
Mbappe suffered a painful nose injury that forced him to wear a mask for a number of matches at the concluded Euros.
Spanish outlet AS reports Mbappe had a meeting with Real Madrid doctors recently which confirmed that an operation on his nose won’t be necessary, allowing him to make his debut in the Super Cup clash with Atalanta.
