American model and rapper Amber Rose has announced her support for Republican Party candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. Rose, who was previously a vocal critic of Trump, explained her shift in stance by accusing the media of spreading falsehoods about the former president.

During her speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Monday night, Amber Rose articulated her reasons for supporting Trump, who attended the event with a bandaged right ear after surviving an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

Amber Rose addressed the convention attendees, saying, “I’m no politician and I don’t want to be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies, so I’m here to set the record straight.”

She emphasized the importance of electing Trump, regardless of political background, by stating, “No matter your political background, the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States.”

Amber Rose’s remarks have sparked significant attention, given her previous stance against Trump and her strong statements about media bias.
