Ahmed made this statement during a familiarization visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Boro Town, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

During his visit, Ahmed praised the Corps members for their high level of discipline and encouraged them to continue adhering to the Scheme’s rules and regulations. He emphasized the significance of the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, urging Corps members to take advantage of the initiative to become self-reliant and future employers.

Ahmed also advised the Corps members to prioritize their personal security by remaining vigilant and reading the security tips booklet provided to them. He cautioned against sharing NYSC activities on social media to avoid potential security risks and warned against unnecessary adventures and night journeys due to road dangers.

The State Coordinator, Mrs. Okpalifo Obiageli Charity, briefed the Director General on the current camp situation, noting that the Corps members have adjusted well to the regimented lifestyle and are actively participating in all camp activities with a high level of discipline.
