Big Brother Naija reality star, Doyin David, revealed in a recent interview with media personality Olufemi Daniel that she dates for companionship rather than marriage. Doyin emphasized that her relationships are about having a good time and finding a life partner, not necessarily leading to marriage.
“I never really date to get married but to have a good time and I date for companionship, whether it leads to marriage or not,” she stated.
Doyin explained that while sex is part of companionship, it is not the primary reason for her dating. She is content with life partnership even if it doesn’t result in marriage. “At the end of the day, what is marriage? Is it about signing papers? It is not important, and I am not trying to talk down on the marriage constitution. Companionship is important to me. So I just want to have someone who is my person for the rest of my life, so it’s not important to be legally married,” she added.
