Famous Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, known as Rema, has expressed that it’s insulting for anyone to claim he isn’t on the same level as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
Addressing the backlash from his controversial tweet, “No more Big 3 there’s now a Big 4,” which he reiterated in his new song “Hehehe,” released by Mavin Global Holdings on Monday morning, Rema firmly stated his position among the top Afrobeats artists.
Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido are widely acknowledged as the biggest Nigerian/Afrobeats artists globally, commonly referred to as the “Big 3.” However, Rema insists that he has earned his place alongside them, making it a “Big 4.”
In his song, he sings, “No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.”
