Popular US rapper Rick Ross was attacked after his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada. Ross reportedly played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” a track aimed at Canadian singer Drake, to conclude his set.

According to TMZ, a group of 15 men confronted Ross and his crew as they left the stage. The altercation escalated into violence after one man punched Ross in the face. It is unclear if anyone was injured or arrested.

In May 2024, Ross had expressed support for Kendrick Lamar during his feud with Drake, leading Drake to respond with the track “Push Ups.” Ross later responded with his own track, “Champagne Moments.”
