The Federal Government’s 3 Million Technical Talents (3MTT) program has unveiled job opportunities for the 30,000 fellows who graduated from its first cohort. The announcement, made on Thursday by program coordinators, encourages fellows to start applying for various roles, both locally and remotely, accessible through the newly launched 3MTT Job Boards.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of job opportunities on the 3MTT Job Boards! Fellows who have completed our online courses and ALC training can now log in to explore and apply for roles that match their skills,” the announcement stated.

The second phase of the program, launched in March, aims to further support cohort 1 graduates by providing internship placements with partnering companies. Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, emphasized the government’s commitment to facilitating job placements and supporting entrepreneurship among program participants.

“We are collaborating with partners to assist those interested in entrepreneurship to launch their tech startups, addressing critical national challenges with technology solutions,” Dr. Tijani explained.

President Bola Tinubu’s advocacy has also spurred discussions on potential unemployment benefits for 3MTT participants, reflecting a broader commitment to creating 2 million digital jobs as part of Nigeria’s economic agenda. The program underscores Nigeria’s strategic investment in building technical talent crucial for driving digital transformation and positioning the country as a global player in the digital economy.

“As we equip our workforce with essential digital skills, we strengthen our economy’s resilience and competitiveness, fostering sustainable growth and prosperity,” Minister Tijani affirmed.
