Omoni Oboli’s Favorite Part of Acting: “Being Multiple People in One Lifetime”

Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli recently shared her favorite aspect of acting, revealing that she loves the opportunity to embody multiple characters in a single lifetime. In an interview with Netflix for the upcoming series “Òlòtūré: The Journey,” Oboli participated in a quick-fire Q&A session posted on Instagram on June 24, 2024.

Reflecting on her upbringing in Delta Steel Company, Delta State, she mentioned that if she hadn’t become an actress, she would have pursued a career as a surgeon. Demonstrating her versatility, Oboli also noted her culinary skills, proudly stating, “I can make so many Nigerian dishes, especially the soups. I can make banga soup, egusi, you name it.”

When asked about other Netflix series she’d love to star in, Oboli chose “Bridgerton.” She described her experience in the acting world by stating, “My favorite thing about being an actor is that I get to be so many people in just one life.” She also revealed the last show she watched on Netflix was “Anatomy of a Scandal.”

Promoting the new film, Oboli described “Òlòtūré: The Journey” as “thrilling,” “tear-jerking,” and “nerve-wracking,” urging audiences to stay engaged when the series premieres on June 28, 2024. “If you look away, you will miss something amazing,” she concluded.
