American business mogul and fashion enthusiast Kylie Jenner, widely known from the reality TV series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” broke down in tears on this week’s episode of “The Kardashians” due to hurtful comments about her appearance. Kylie, who has faced negative remarks about her looks from an early age, opened up about the emotional toll these comments have taken on her.
“It’s a miracle that I still have confidence and I can still look in the mirror and think that I am pretty,” Kylie shared during the episode.
She revealed that she underwent a significant change last year by dissolving half of her lip filler. Despite her efforts to address her appearance in a way that feels right to her, she continues to be the target of online criticism.
“Why do people think it’s OK to talk about me? I’ve never cried about this before, but I guess it does affect me,” she admitted. “I hear nasty things about myself all the time. After 10-plus years of hearing about it, it just gets exhausting.”
Kylie also recalled seeing harsh remarks online about how she “f–ked up her face.” At 26 years old, she emphasized that discussing someone’s looks in such a negative manner is unacceptable, regardless of whether or not they have had cosmetic surgery.
“Even if I did get so much surgery, I still don’t think it’s OK to talk about someone’s looks,” she continued, highlighting the impact of the constant scrutiny she faces.
Kylie’s candid discussion sheds light on the emotional struggles faced by public figures who endure persistent criticism of their appearance, reminding viewers of the importance of kindness and empathy in online interactions.
