American singer Justin Timberlake was arrested on Monday night in the Hamptons enclave of Sag Harbor, New York, for driving while intoxicated.
Local outlet Newsday reported that a police spokesperson and a Sag Harbor Justice Court official confirmed Timberlake’s arrest on DWI-related charges. The Suffolk County district attorney’s office stated that Timberlake is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
This incident comes amid Timberlake’s ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,’ with upcoming performances scheduled in Chicago this weekend and New York City next week.
