The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers State has accused Governor Siminalayi Fubara of exacerbating the ongoing political crisis in the state.
During a press briefing on Wednesday at the party secretariat in Port Harcourt, Tony Okocha, the Chairman of the APC in the state, claimed that Governor Fubara’s disregard for President Bola Tinubu’s advice against establishing caretaker committees for local governments has intensified the unrest.
Chief Okocha further expressed concern that Governor Fubara’s administration has been violating court orders, particularly in cases where parties were advised to exercise restraint.
