President Bola Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, to mark Democracy Day. This announcement was made through a press release from the State House.
The broadcast will be aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) networks, with all other electronic media outlets encouraged to join in.
In his address, President Tinubu will reassure Nigerians of his administration’s dedication to addressing the country’s economic and security challenges. He will emphasize the commitment to ensuring that the benefits of democracy are shared equitably among all citizens.
Additionally, the President will reflect on Nigeria’s journey since the return to democratic rule in 1999, highlighting both achievements and ongoing challenges.
