INSECURITY: President Tinubu Condemns Attacks in Katsina, Orders Thorough Investigation

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep concern over the recent wave of violence targeting citizens in Dutsin-Ma and Kankara Local Government Areas of Katsina State, labeling the attacks as “grisly and sinister.”

In a statement released on Tuesday by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to securing the lives of Nigerians and eradicating terrorism and other forms of violence nationwide.

In response to the alarming situation, President Tinubu has directed security agencies to conduct thorough investigations into the attacks to ensure that the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice. This directive underscores the government’s determination to hold accountable those responsible for perpetrating violence and causing harm to innocent citizens.

Despite the severity of the situation, President Tinubu conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as the Government and people of Katsina State. He offered prayers for the souls of the departed, emphasizing solidarity and support for those affected by these tragic events.
