Mubaraq Olaniyi Olawale, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.98 from Lagos State University (LASU), has been named the top overall student in the Department of Accounting Education. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu awarded him a N10 million cash prize.
The announcement was made by the governor during the university’s 27th convocation grand finale held in Lagos on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Jubril A. Gawat, the governor’s assistant, provided additional details and confirmed the development on Thursday.
With an impressive 4.98 CGPA, Olawale earned the title of best graduating student in accounting education at LASU, showcasing his exceptional dedication and talent.
