Street pop sensation Portable has previewed a new single aimed at content creator Saida Boj. Known for his reactive and expressive music, Portable’s latest track titled “SaidaBoboje” comes in response to Boj’s recent controversial statements.
Saida Boj garnered attention after her appearance on Pulse Hot Takes, where she declared that only weak men agree to a 50/50 split in relationships. She further fueled discussions with her comments on the Honest Bunch Podcast, insisting that a man must spend 20 million naira in the first week to show his seriousness.
Following these viral statements, Portable addressed Boj during an Instagram live session, ultimately channeling his thoughts into a song. In “SaidaBoboje,” Portable uses Yoruba proverbs to caution Boj against reckless behavior, while also critiquing her views on romantic relationships.
This diss track continues Portable’s trend of transforming personal experiences and disputes into music. Recently, he previewed a tribute to women titled “Ogbanje” after meeting Tiwa Savage. Earlier this year, he released “Brotherhood” following a dispute with Nigerian socialite Bobrisky. Portable also gained attention for “Spiderman,” a track inspired by an incident where he evaded arrest by the Nigerian Police over an unpaid debt.
