Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, made a significant visit to Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) in Osara, Kogi State, in response to a recent kidnapping incident that shook the campus. Expressing deep concern over the safety of students, Senator Natasha assured the university administration of her unwavering support and pledged to take action to enhance security measures.
During her visit, Senator Natasha emphasized the critical role of educational institutions as safe havens for students. She reiterated her commitment to collaborating with CUSTECH to address the security challenges and strengthen existing security protocols. Senator Natasha urged the university’s leadership to reach out to her for any assistance needed, highlighting her focus on educational development in her constituency.
In response, Professor Abdulrahman Salawu, the vice-chancellor of CUSTECH, welcomed Senator Natasha’s visit and expressed gratitude for her condolences and support.
