The reinstated Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, delivered a poignant sermon at the Kofar Kudu Central Mosque in Kano on Friday, speaking about his return to the throne and emphasizing that no one can doubt God’s plan. Sanusi’s message emphasized the significance of accepting one’s destiny as decreed by Allah.

Addressing the congregation, Sanusi stated, “Whoever believes that Allah alone gives everything must take the decision of Allah wholeheartedly. No one asks Allah’s reasons for anything.”

He urged people to remain thankful in both good and bad times, asserting that true belief requires acceptance of all that comes from Allah. “We must believe that whatever happens to us is predestined from God and what we couldn’t have is from Him,” he added.

Sanusi also encouraged observance of supplications as the Islamic month of Zhul Hijja approaches, highlighting its significance and benefits.

This statement follows Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State’s decision to reinstate Sanusi and dethrone Aminu Ado Bayero. The move came after the repeal of the Emirate Law, which had divided the Kano Emirate into five separate emirates. The Kano State House of Assembly’s repeal of this law has now consolidated the Kano Emirate once again.
