The prestigious accolade was presented during the annual award ceremony organized by Champion Newspapers Limited, held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
The award reaffirms Globacom’s status as Nigeria’s most innovative telecom operator, noted for its commitment to providing affordable communication tools that significantly enhance lives and businesses across the country.
Dr. (Mrs.) Nwadiuto Iheakanwa, Managing Director of Champion Newspapers Limited, explained the rationale behind the awards and the criteria for selection. In her welcome address, she stated:

Among the attendees were representatives from First Bank, Fidelity Bank, Julius Berger Plc, and Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Limited, alongside the CEOs of UBA, Zenith Bank, and Fidelity Bank.
