President Bola Tinubu has embarked on a journey from Lagos to Abuja, where he is scheduled to oversee the inauguration of projects executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
Departing from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 AM, President Tinubu received a warm send-off from Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and various government officials.
During his visit to Lagos, President Tinubu spearheaded the official commencement of construction for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a monumental 700-kilometer project aimed at fostering economic growth and development in rural communities.
Moreover, President Tinubu inaugurated the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway, celebrated the completion of the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, and virtually launched the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to infrastructure development.
In Abuja, the President’s itinerary includes overseeing the commissioning of various projects, among them the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One. These projects underscore the government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure across the nation, improving connectivity, and promoting economic prosperity.
