The Director General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG), Prof Kailani Muhammad, issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu, cautioning him to remain vigilant in light of an alleged conspiracy against him ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Kailani delivered this cautionary message during the presentation of the Award of Excellence in National Service to him by the Supreme Head of the Nzuko Nd’ Imo Organisation (NNIO) in Abuja. He highlighted the existence of a purported conspiracy against Tinubu within certain Northern circles, including the Northern Elders Forum and other groups.
Emphasizing the importance of Tinubu’s recognition of support groups, Kailani urged the President to appoint members of CASG into his government, asserting that such appointments would bolster loyalty and dedication to the APC government.
He further promised unequivocal support if Tinubu took such actions, stressing the necessity for him to “do the right thing” by uplifting the support groups, which, according to Kailani, had yet to receive any appointments.
Kailani expressed his belief that the appointment of CASG members would contribute to economic prosperity and the physical upliftment of the country.
