Youth Advocate for Change (YAFC), a non-governmental organization, underscores the importance of educators embracing innovative teaching methods to excel in their classrooms.
In a statement, the group emphasizes that creative teaching approaches will instill confidence in educators to effectively utilize educational technology with their students.
YAFC reveals its plans to host a one-day training session titled ‘Teach, Inspire, and Innovate for Better Learning Outcomes’ in Lagos on May 16th, targeting teachers and school owners residing in slum settlements.
Adeola Ogunlade, YAFC Team Lead, highlights that the program aims to foster teacher self-reliance, cultivate teacher leadership, and support educators in implementing innovative teaching methods while enhancing their proficiency in educational technology usage.
He elaborates, “The training will feature seminars, live case studies, workshops, and panel discussions, providing educators with insights into the latest trends, best practices, and cutting-edge technology in pursuit of classroom excellence. Teachers and school owners, especially those in underserved communities, will benefit from learning from education industry experts, empowering them with new tools and practical strategies to achieve classroom excellence.”
