In a recent appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ popular singer Simisola Kosoko, known as Simi, acknowledged the strong musical “chemistry” she shares with fellow artist Falz. Contrary to speculation, Simi clarified that their relationship is purely professional, although many mistakenly assumed it was romantic.
During the podcast, Simi revealed plans for a new single featuring Falz, set to be released later in the month. Reflecting on their past collaborations, including a joint EP titled ‘Chemistry,’ Simi shared insights into their creative partnership, highlighting the positive reception they received from fans.
She expressed excitement about their upcoming project, describing it as a lighthearted song that aims to resonate with audiences. The duo’s history of successful collaborations has fueled anticipation for their latest endeavor, signaling another milestone in their musical journey together.
Despite previous dating rumors sparked by their joint EP in 2016, Simi’s subsequent marriage to singer Adekunle Gold in 2019 marked the end of such speculations. Since then, they’ve embraced their respective paths in both personal and professional life, with Simi and Adekunle Gold welcoming their first child in 2020.
