NOA and PTAD Collaborate for Grassroots Pension Sensitization

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) have forged a partnership aimed at enhancing grassroots awareness on pension-related issues.

In a meeting held at the NOA headquarters, Director-General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu and a delegation led by PTAD Executive Secretary Dr. Chioma N. Ejikeme, deliberated on leveraging NOA’s established platforms to amplify pension awareness.

Mallam Issa-Onilu expressed satisfaction that PTAD recognized NOA’s capacity and nationwide reach for grassroots sensitization. He emphasized the importance of extending support to pensioners, acknowledging their significant contributions to the nation. Stressing retirement as a privilege, he underscored the necessity of providing requisite assistance to retirees.

Furthermore, Mallam Issa-Onilu highlighted NOA’s innovative communication platforms, including the Explainer and the Mobiliser, along with its comprehensive database and forthcoming television and radio stations. He also mentioned the imminent launch of the National Value Charter, designed to further enrich communication between government agencies and citizens.

Dr. Ejikeme expressed gratitude to Mallam Issa-Onilu for offering NOA’s platforms for PTAD’s use, enhancing their ability to serve Nigerians effectively.
