In a recent interview with content creator Egungun, Whitemoney voices his shift in priorities towards local recognition, particularly the Headies Awards.
Expressing disillusionment with the Grammy organizers’ treatment of Nigerian superstars like Davido and Burna Boy, Whitemoney suggests that the Grammys may be leveraging Nigeria for publicity rather than honoring talent.
Despite his change in focus, Whitemoney remains open to the possibility of Grammy recognition in the future, asserting confidence in his unique musical style.
