The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has strongly denounced the recent terrorist attack on a mosque in Afghanistan’s Herat province, expressing deep condolences for the lives lost and injuries incurred.
In a statement, the ministry extended sympathy to the victims and their families, emphasizing Pakistan’s solidarity with Afghanistan during this time of tragedy.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families in this hour of grief. The people and government of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the people of Afghanistan,” the statement affirmed.
Furthermore, Pakistan reiterated its firm stance against terrorism in all its forms, including reprehensible attacks on places of worship.
The attack in Herat province resulted in the deaths of six individuals and left another wounded as gunmen opened fire on worshipers during evening prayers at a mosque.
