An Abuja Federal High Court has adjourned the trial involving Binance and two executives accused of money laundering to May 13. Binance, along with Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, faces allegations of laundering over $35 million.

The case, brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was set to resume on Thursday but was postponed. Anjarwalla, a British Kenyan, recently fled Nigerian authorities to Kenya. Additionally, a tax evasion trial against Binance and the executives has been adjourned to May 17 due to the exchange not being formally served with the charges.

Binance, Gambaryan, and Anjarwalla face four counts of tax evasion, including failure to register with Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for tax remittance. While Binance was not represented in court and had no immediate comment, it stated it was cooperating closely with Nigerian authorities. Last week, EFCC urged the court to deny Gambaryan’s bail application.
