Popular comedian Mr Macaroni has condemned Wizkid for his apparent disrespect towards veteran producer Don Jazzy, following a recent online exchange.
In response to shade thrown at him by Mavin signee Ladipoe, Wizkid dismissed any communication with artists under an “influencer,” hinting at Don Jazzy. Mr Macaroni called this characterization disrespectful to Don Jazzy’s immense contributions to the Nigerian music industry.
Acknowledging Don Jazzy’s multifaceted influence across music, content creation, films, and branding, Mr Macaroni emphasized Don Jazzy’s legendary status and selfless support for numerous entertainers, regardless of their fame.
He further praised Don Jazzy for promoting artists beyond his record label, offering free advice, and championing emerging talents, including himself.
