Apapa Port Leads Nigeria Customs Service Revenue in March 2024

According to a report released by Infographic, the Apapa Port Command in Lagos emerged as the top revenue generator among all Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) commands nationwide in March 2024. The command contributed N169.93 billion to the total NCS revenue, representing 34.12% of the overall revenue.

The NCS recently announced a total revenue of N498.07 billion for March 2024, translating to an average hourly revenue of approximately N669.45 million and a daily average of N16.07 billion across its various commands nationwide. This information was shared via the official NCS X account on Monday. Infographic further corroborated this announcement by releasing a documentary outlining the revenue generated by each command nationwide.

In the data provided by Infographic, the Apapa Port Command’s revenue in March 2024 was followed closely by the Tincan Command, which generated N114.16 billion, contributing 22.92% to the total NCS revenue for that month. The Onne Port Command in Rivers State secured the third-highest revenue for the NCS in March 2024, with a total of N71.45 billion, accounting for 14.35% of the total revenue collected by the NCS during the month.
