Dana Airline has announced its initiative to process refunds for customers who have previously booked flights within the next month. The airline’s management released a statement on Wednesday, appealing for patience from affected customers and requesting them to provide their booking details and bank account numbers.

This announcement follows closely after the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, directed the immediate suspension of Dana Airline and ordered an audit of its safety and financial status. The suspension was prompted by an incident involving one of the airline’s aircraft, Flight 9J0352, which skidded off the runway at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, resulting in the diversion of flights from local to international terminals.

In a letter addressed to the Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Chris Najomo, through the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, Minister Keyamo emphasized the necessity of this disciplinary action.

The airline’s management has urged affected passengers to expedite the refund process by sending their booking details and bank account numbers to contact@flydanaair.com.

Assuring passengers of their cooperation with authorities, the management stated their commitment to addressing concerns swiftly and ensuring a safe and seamless travel experience upon resumption of operations.
