The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a stern warning to Corps members across the country, cautioning them against engaging in acts of indiscipline.

Rifkatu Yakubu, the NYSC Coordinator in Bauchi State, emphasized the importance of adherence to NYSC regulations during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ stream II corps members on Tuesday.

Yakubu stressed that any form of indiscipline would be met with decisive action, urging Corps members to obey all camp officials as their guardians.

She stated, “Indiscipline is not tolerated here, and I assure you that if you are law-abiding, you will have a very fruitful and enjoyable camping exercise.”

Governor Bala Mohammed, represented by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mohammed Salees, commended the prompt reporting of corps members to the orientation camp.

He urged them to uphold patriotism and serve as agents of positive change throughout their service year.

The governor reiterated the state government’s commitment to supporting the NYSC program while encouraging corps members to serve with dedication and commitment.
