Ademola Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s triumph over Monza in the Serie A, contributing two assists that led to both goals in their 2-1 away victory on Sunday.
This victory marked a return to winning ways for Atalanta, who had previously experienced a draw and a loss in their last two matches.
Lookman’s first assist came in the 44th minute when he set up Charles De Ketelaere, granting Atalanta the lead. In the 72nd minute, Lookman provided his second assist by laying off the ball for El Bilal Toure to extend the lead to 2-0.
Although Monza managed to pull one goal back through Daniel Maldini, Atalanta successfully defended their lead to claim all three points.
Lookman’s impressive performance adds to his season’s tally, boasting six assists and eight goals in 28 appearances in the Italian top division.
