Billionaire prophet and General Overseer of Christ Mercy Land Church in Warri, Delta State, Jeremiah Fufeyin, has issued a stern warning against attributing the death of late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, to the marine kingdom. Reacting to claims made by some alleged worshippers of the marine kingdom, who suggested that the actor’s demise was due to a lack of sacrifice to spiritual elements of the river, Fufeyin asserted that there is no power greater than that of Jesus Christ.

Among the outpouring of prayers and condolences for the deceased actor and his colleagues, a controversial comment surfaced, suggesting a connection between their deaths and the marine kingdom. A self-proclaimed agent of the marine kingdom purported that the tragic boat accident was a result of a sacrifice demanded by the water spirits, insisting that Junior Pope and his colleagues should be buried beside the Anam River where the incident occurred.

However, Prophet Fufeyin, renowned for his staunch defense of Christianity, swiftly responded to these assertions in a video message, firmly stating that “water power is less than Jesus Christ power.” His unequivocal rejection of the claims linking the actor’s death to the marine kingdom underscored his unwavering faith in the supremacy of Jesus Christ over any spiritual entity.

In light of the controversy surrounding the circumstances of Junior Pope’s death, Prophet Fufeyin’s resolute stance serves as a reminder of the foundational principles of Christianity and the authority attributed to Jesus Christ. His swift and assertive response aims to dispel any misconceptions or superstitions regarding the tragic incident, reaffirming his commitment to upholding the faith and promoting spiritual clarity among his followers and the public alike.
