Covenant University has emerged as the top-ranked institution in Nigeria according to the 2024 rankings by Times Higher Education (THE). The University of Ibadan follows closely as the second-best university in the country, with the Federal University of Technology, Akure securing the third position.
The University of Lagos and Bayero University, Kano complete the top five universities in Nigeria. Times Higher Education, previously known as The Times Higher Education Supplement, is a renowned British publication covering higher education-related news and issues.
