The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a warning to Nigerians regarding false publications circulating online about recruitment into the Corps.
In a statement by Jonas Agwu, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer at FRSC Headquarters in Abuja, it was clarified that there is currently no recruitment ongoing, nor any plans for recruitment in the immediate future.
Agwu emphasized that the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, urged both prospective applicants and the general public to disregard these misleading publications.
He further cautioned individuals against engaging with scammers who may attempt to take advantage of the false recruitment news, emphasizing that the FRSC will not be held liable for any consequences arising from such engagements.
The warning serves to protect individuals from falling victim to scams and misinformation, underscoring the importance of verifying information from official sources.
