The Kano State Police Command has initiated a comprehensive investigation into a troubling incident involving the decapitation of a six-year-old boy named Mohammed Saidu. Allegedly, a 16-year-old named Abdullahi, hailing from Zamfara State, is the perpetrator of this gruesome act, which occurred in Kanwa village within the Madobi local government area of Kano State.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Usaini Gumel, the suspect was apprehended in Kanwa village by a concerned citizen while carrying a blood-stained knife believed to have been used in the crime. Subsequent searches in the area led to the discovery of young Saidu’s headless body near a nearby primary school.
