The All Progressives Congress (APC) kicked off a pivotal phase in the Ondo State gubernatorial race as it inaugurated Screening and Appeal Committees for its 16 aspirants at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Friday.
The one-day screening exercise promptly followed the inauguration and is presently in progress, marking a significant step in the party’s internal selection process.
According to APC officials, the Ondo State Governorship Primary Election is slated for April 25, with the primary election appeal scheduled for April 26.
In a statement released via its official channels, the APC emphasized that its actions align with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2022, as amended, and relevant sections of the Constitution.
