On Future and Metro Boomin’s latest album, ‘We Still Don’t Trust You,’ The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky have apparently taken shots at Drake.
The Weeknd, featured on a track titled ‘All To Myself,’ reaffirmed his allegiance to Future and Metro Boomin’s side of the hip-hop industry feud. He boasted about rejecting Drake’s offer to sign him to Ovo Sounds in 2011, stating, “They could never diss my brothers, baby, when they got leaks in they operation. I thank God that I never signed my life away. Their shooters making TikToks.”
Likewise, A$AP Rocky, featured on a track called ‘Show of Hands,’ seemed to throw shade at Drake. Referring to himself as “Flacko,” he boasted about being with Rihanna before Drake, who dated her in 2009-2010, stating, “Flacko hit it first, son / Still don’t trust you ”Always us, never them.” He also mentioned Drake’s latest work, rapping, “Heard you dropped your latest sh*t / Funny how it just came and went.”
While A$AP Rocky confirmed his relationship with Rihanna in 2021, rumors had previously circulated about their connection even during Rihanna’s past relationships.
