NiMet’s Sunday weather forecast in Abuja predicted a sunny and hazy atmosphere in parts of Yobe and Borno states on Monday, along with possible thunderstorms in Kebbi. The agency also anticipated sunny skies with patches of cloud in other parts of the North during the morning hours, with isolated thunderstorms expected in areas of Bauchi, Taraba, and Kaduna states.
In the North Central region, sunny conditions with few clouds were expected, with chances of isolated thunderstorms in parts of Niger, Kwara, and Benue. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms were forecasted in parts of Plateau, FCT, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kogi states.
For the South, cloudy weather with intervals of sunshine was predicted, along with isolated thunderstorms in areas of Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states during the morning. Isolated thunderstorms were also expected in parts of Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia, Ogun, Imo, Edo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa states.
